Shire of Carreg Wen – King’s Hunt

At Live Oak Camp off Hwy 154 north of Santa Barbara
The Shire of Carreg Wen would like to invite you to join them for the King’s Hunt. After several years away, we are back at Live Oak Campground. Campsite has very nice restrooms, showers, and HOT running water. We will be serving the King’s Hunt Feast Saturday night (Marco Polo theme). The Shire will be hosting breakfast Sunday morning (included with site fee) Weekend activities will include; rapier, cut & thrust, armored, equestrian, A&S classes, children’s activities, brewing competition, and baking competition. Registration information: Weekend: Adults $30 or $25 with SCA Membership. Adults attending Saturday only will pay $20 or $15 with SCA membership. Children under 18 $5 or $0 with SCA membership. Feast is $12; please reserve seats by emailing Kingshuntfeast@carregwen.org. Please make checks payable to SCA Inc., Shire of Carreg Wen. Merchants are welcome with their site fee, but please contact the event steward in advance.
Directions:
From the south, take US-101N through Santa Barbara and take the Calle Real exit. Turn right onto CA-154 North and set your trip odometer. After 12 miles, at the bottom of the hill, turn right into the Live Oak Camp/Rancho San Marcos Golf Course. Turn immediately left, and follow the road 0.8mi to Live Oak Camp. Camping is atop the hill.
